Local Bag Brand PAVO Steps Up with New Collection of Men and Women's Footwear

After years in the bag business, local brand PAVO has re-emerged in the local fashion scene, stepping up with an all-new huge collection of footwear for both men and women including slippers, espadrilles and slip-on shoes.

“We wanted to come out with something summery that could be of high quality and still be a reasonable price,” said co-founder and designer Mina Mandalon, referring to how the new shoes cost somewhere between EGP240 to EGP440.

“The collection is completely inspired by the summer season, with our geometric shapes inspired by lotus flowers and some added embroidery," Mandalon said. "We use two different factories for our production process, each one being specialized for shoemaking and embroidery."

The brand, which is the brainchild of Mina Mandalon and Khaled Boraie, first appeared in the market back in 2017 and made waves with their practical unisex bag designs. Now, they hope to expand their product line with this footwear debut and will soon continue adding to your ensemble by adding belts and wallets to their selections.
