Kult Kairo Gets All 80s on Us With New Collection 'Authentique'

We’ve all rummaged through a vintage store and here and there, our dad’s closets included (sorry dad) in an attempt to fully materialize our internal pretentious hipster and fully succumb to the quick-fired rise of the 80s vacation dad aesthetic.

We’ve seen the printed shirts circulating and in popular demand ever since every suburban dad donated his high school wardrobe to his nearest charity shop. We’re not actually sure whether it was Anthropology majors or late architect millennials who bought out the generous donations but either way we have them to thank for re-animating the colourful generational fad.

Kult Kairo, Egypt’s resident blast from the past, is breathing life into the trend piece with their newest collection ‘Authentique’. The drop comes in many hues - yes the classic pastels are in fact included - and is one of the most extensive collections of prints they've released.

Interweaving the spunk of the 80s unapologetic culture with a contemporary twist, the collection embodies the feel of Thursday night kotshena sessions in downtown Cairo.
