Following in her designer mum’s footsteps, content creator and OG fashion blogger Nourhanne Eissa took her familial talents in stride and founded ‘Not So’ alongside her dear friend Dalia Serour. The brand is by no means attempting to distinguish itself in terms of outlandish designs or riveting storytelling. Blurring the lines between maximalism and minimalism, ‘Not So’ amalgamates intricate designs that showcase Eissa's expertise, whilst also remaining palpable and hyper-aware of the local scene’s current - and ongoing - demands.
Whilst the first drop is still relatively under wraps, some of the pieces channel the precise draping and cinched silhouettes we’d encounter upon a weekend escapade to a Grecian island. The all-white aesthetic is reminiscent of the brand’s personal philosophy, attesting to its unscathed nature and its fresh outlook on the local fashion scene.
