Cairo Fashion Festival Launches its 9th and Biggest Edition This Wednesday

The most magical time of the year is just around the corner. While that will only mean Christmas to some, for the city's glitterati it only means one thing: Cairo Fashion Festival! With eight glamorous editions under its belt, Cairo Fashion Festival (CFF) is back with the its 9th and biggest edition yet, launching next Wednesday in none other than Cairo Festival City.

The Middle East's fashion hotshots along with promising up-and-coming designers, from Sara Gabr to Bardess, will be flocking to CFF starting this Wednesday, November 22nd, to showcase their hottest FW'18 and SS'18 collections in what will be the longest catwalk in the history of the festival in the gigantic amphitheater parking lot.

For the 3rd year running, CFF intends to keep up with their fabulous tradition of sending one young designer on a fully-funded scholarship at the prestigious London College of Fashion. The lucky designer will be judged by iconic Dubai-based fashion blogger Zeynab El-Helw, aka The Fashion Pirate as you may know her on Instagram. "Our collaboration with the London College of Fashion, is just one of the ways that we are able to support the emerging entrepreneurs and Egypt’s growing fashion community," Cairo Fashion Festival's General Manager Austin Martin tells us.

Alongside the fashion extravaganza, a fabulous bazaar featuring the exquisite creations of over twenty exhibitors will be running at the mall's Festive Promenade, open for the festival's guests as well as CFC's shoppers.

The event is set to end in one of the biggest fashion gatherings the industry has witnessed. With more than a whopping 4000 VIP guests set to attend, the closing ceremony will bring together renowned fashion socialites and representatives of international media for a night of non-stop fashion presentations and over ten runway shows.

It might not be christmas yet, but we're definitely in for a few surprises this week at Cairo Fashion Festival. And models and sartorial mavens are way more stylish than Santa anyway.
