Aliel’s Latest ‘Ghalia’ Collection Plunges Under the Surface

Inspired by the need to transcend all facades, to tune out the noise of the world and delve into silence and tranquillity, Aliel’s newest collection ‘Ghalia’ is fashion’s own interpretation of plunging beneath surfaces.

The collection’s editorial shoot is set in a lucid, dream-like underwater world, where the gem-toned handbags appear to be weightless, floating effortlessly alongside airy summer fabrics.

Aliel is a luxury bag brand founded in 2017 by designer Leila Abo Tira, and has previously released four collections. ‘Ghalia’ takes a turn from Aliel’s signature square bags to an asymmetrical rectangular design accented with a unique agate stone chain, and come in six lively colours.

The shoot is the work of photographer Mohsen Osman and stylist Ahmed Sorour, and is modelled by Sherouk Farid. The collection is now available for purchase, with international shipping on mitcha.com and nasnah.com as well.
