A La Mode(st) with Sara Elemary's Striking New Collection

Modest ready-to-wear label Sara Elemary’s latest collection hails in a mixture of luxurious yet laid back athleisure looks, featuring a variety of tie dye prints and neutral palettes. Elemary is known for her tomboyish, minimal designs and has become a go-to for modest wear and hijabis in the local fashion scene. But her newest collection, 'Urban Lines', gives modest wear a striking edge that's new and exciting, exuding an air of aloof confidence that we're all about.

The collection features checkered plaid shirts to layer and style for everyday street style looks, as well as outerwear pieces like leather, sequin tops and statement coats. The plaid is familiar; the rest, though, is a dramatic deviation from Elemary’s signature style.

While the collection’s pieces has us interested, the gorgeous photoshoot that accompanied got us turning our heads. The images are dreamy, yet far from soft. In fact, they demand your attention. Hazy neon colours and striking lines come together to create a contemporary aesthetic for the new collection.
