9 Male Fashion Designers Making Egyptian Women Beautiful

Although it often seems that females dominate the fashion scene of catwalks, some of the leading fashion designers behind these stunning getups are men. Yes, We spend way more than our fair share of time gawking at female fashion designers, models and it girls — but there’s a whole another gender we rarely give the time of day to. The male designer world has just as much to offer in terms of inspiration as the go-to female designers do, and it’s time you paid them their dues.

Nabil's brand Nob Designs' aesthetic is usually somewhere along the lines of in-your-face funkiness and tacky-cool statement making. You've probably seen his work on the bodies of socialites such as Nourhan Eissa, Sahar Foad and more.

Rafik Zaki - Rafik Zaki Designs.

Zaki has been slaying it with one killer dress after the other, showcasing his stuff on the runways from Cairo Fashion Nights to Baroque, Our Wedding Carnival and more. The dude's everywhere and he doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.

Mohanad Kojak - Kojak.

He has been bullied and ostracised, but has come out fighting, for fashion and for freedom. Kojak continues to wow everyone with his eccentric pieces, that he sometimes even lets his own mother wear.

Ahmed Azzam - Zaam Designs.

It doesn't matter what gender you are, there's a Zaam bag for everyone thanks to his new line #ZAAMman. He also won this year's Jumia Asfour award for Bag Designer Of The Year.

Soucha Mhiligue - Soucha Haute Couture.

He has dressed the likes of Razan El-Maghraby, Tara Emad and tons of actors and actresses in mosalsalat.

Hisham Aboul Ela - Hisham Aboul Ela Couture.

Aboul Ela has been around the fashion scene for 11 years and he is still going strong. With his Valentina Boutique in Mohandessin and celebs such as Mai Ezz El-Deen flaunting his designs, he doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.

Hany El-Behairy - Hany El-Behairy Couture.

One of the greatest designers of haute couture in the Middle East, El-Behairy has been working in this field since he was 15 years old. Years and years later, his beautiful gowns can be seen on the bodies of celebds such as Yousra, Laila Elwy, Warda Al Gazaeria, Elham Shahin and more...

Mohamed Dagher.

The late divo was known for his simple yet daring designs. Winner of the Dear Guest Award for The Best Designer in 2009, Dagher was the talent behind the spectacular dresses worn by some of the Arab world's best-known female celebrities, including Moroccan singer Samira Saeed and Lebanese diva Haifa Wahabi. His brand lives on thanks to his sister, carrying the torch after his untimely death.

Khaled Al-Khazendar - Fashion House.

From managing his own boutique Fashion House to designing new dresses, working on music videos and movies with names such as Samo Zein, Ghada Abdel Razek and more. It's no surprise he's one of the leading fashion designers in the country.
