Zööba To Represent Egypt At London Falafel Fest
Ok, first things first, whose bright idea was it to have the first ever falafel festival in London of all places? We’re not directly opposed to the idea of a celebration of all things falafel, but London? Surely there are a few cities in our neck of the woods that would be better suited to host such an event. Anyway, now that we’ve gotten that out of our system, congrats to one of absolute best spots in town, Zööba, for representing our fair city at the very first Falafel Festival in London!

Putting baladi chic on the map with a charred-aubergine-stuffed ta’amia served over baba ghanouj and with beetroot and hibiscus tahini drizzled on top, Zööba’s very own Mustafa Elrefaey has all of Egypt’s hopes for international culinary recognition resting on his shoulders. No pressure, dude.

Zööba is not just the only Egyptian representative, but every other vendor’s establishments are local London eateries, which – no offense to the others – is sure to make Zööba stand out in a very good way.

Good luck, guys!
