Punt Roma is Treating Its Customers to an All-Star Cooking Class at The Nile Ritz-Carlton

With summer right around the corner, we think it’s the perfect time to start getting more weather-appropriate threads. Now, before spending-related guilt starts to kick in, here's some good news: this time, you actually benefit twice from your shopping spree.

As if shopping wasn't therapeutic and rewarding enough, Punt Roma is taking it to the next level by rewarding the first 10 lucky women to spend over LE 4,000 at each of their four stores with the opportunity to join CBC's star Chef Wessam Massoud for an exclusive cooking class. And get this, not only will you be cooking with everyone's favourite star chef in your brand new outfit, the classes will happen at the garden at none other than one of Cairo's finest hotels, the Nile Ritz Carlton. That means forty lucky ladies, and even luckier households since you can even bring a plus-one. Just think of all the takeout you'll avoid by cooking star-calibre meals at home. The classes will take place on the 12th and 13th of May with three classes on each day. The menu for which - and this may be our favourite part - will be crafted by both Chef Massoud and The Nile's Ritz Italian restaurant Vivo’s own Chef Oliver Glowig who's a not one, but two-Michelin star chef.

To kick off this competition of a shopaholic’s dream, Punt Roma hosted a brunch at Vivo on April 20th which included a live preparation by Chef Massoud himself, where some lucky ladies and their mothers got to to see him in action working his magic and maybe even made an impression.

So grab those purses, ladies, and get to shopping starting Tuesday the 25th of April at any of Punt Roma's four branches in Cairo Festival City, Citystars, Mall of Arabia, and Maadi City Centre for your chance to become Chef Massoud's #MySousChef.

We do think though that this competition should have been done in reverse, since after all that amazing food, we’ll probably be needing a new wardrobe that fits us better.
