Live Your Best Pickled Life With This Egyptian Olive Farm

We always associate olives with Italy or Palestine or something of the sort. Honestly that’s kind of mean, because we make a mean olive here in Cairo. Well not us per say, but Olivetta does anyway. If you’re an olive fan, you’re in for quite the pickle.

The local olive farm and pickle-makers grow all their products right here in the capital and jar it themselves since 2010. Not just olives, but lemons, peppers, torshi, onions, and those little bumpy cucumbers. You know the ones. If you’d rather consume olives in oil form, they’ve got you covered there too. Our personal favs are the feta-stuffed peppers, but the kalamata seems nice too.

Currently, they’re stocked at most Cairo supermarkets. But if IRL grocery shopping isn’t your thing, you can hit them up through www.olivetta.com.eg and put in your next order. No big pickle.
