This is where Bäxters comes into play; a gorgeous café owned by four sisters whose affinity is European cuisine runs deeper than the jam filling their pastries. “The European kitchen part is because our mother (Riitta) is from Finland and we wanted to bring all of our favourite things to Cairo,” co-founder Sherine Wafaai tells @SceneEats. “Both our parents are great cooks and we inherited our love for cooking and baking from them.''
