Mohamed Salah Just Broke Another Record

The Egyptian football phenomenon now has 23 Premier League goals under his belt, and he’s not stopping anytime soon.

In a monumental clash with Tottenham during the 26th round of the English premier League, football star Mohamed salah has officially become the highest scoring Egyptian player in the League with 23 goals, surpassing fellow footballer and compatriot, Ahmed ‘Mido’ Hossam’s 22 goals in his Premier League career.

Salah managed to quickly score 21 Premier League goals in a single season, surpassing all other players in the club’s history. Being Egypt’s most accomplished athlete in the past few years, 25 year-old Salah is the country’s athletic pride and joy, able to positively impact the hearts and minds of today’s youth as Liverpool’s right-winger. His season with Liverpool thus far has been nothing short of sensational; scoring 27 goals for his team, including the 21 Premier League goals and becoming the league’s second best scorer after Harry Kane, who currently has 22 goals under his belt.

Mohamed Salah was previously awarded the title of African Player of the Year in Ghana, during the CAF 2017 ceremony, being nominated along with Liverpool’s Sadio Mane as well as Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, He’s also gone on to win Player of the Month for both December and November of last year from the Professional Footballer’s Association.
