Confirmed: Rami Malek to Star in Next Bond Film

The rumours that circulated earlier this year in February are true. Oscar-winning Egyptian-American actor, Rami Malek, has been confirmed as the main antagonist of the next 007 film, Bond 25, according to AFP, as confirmed by director, Cary Joji Fukunaga.

Though details of the film are still scarce, it’s believed that the villain will be blind, with filming set to take place in several locations across the world, including Jamaica and Norway.

Sources close to the Egyptian-American actor have said that he initially rejected the role because his shooting schedule with Mr. Robot wouldn’t allow it, but it’s now believed that producers of the hit show have readjusted to accommodate what would be another huge role for the 37 year-old. Bond 25 is scheduled for release in 2020.
