Mo Salah shortlisted for UEFA Men’s Player of the Year Award 2018

Mo Salah has been shortlisted on UEFA’s Men’s Player of the Year Awards on Monday, alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modrić. The award, according to CBS Sports, is given to the top performing player in a European football club.

This marks the first time for Egypt to be shortlisted for the award; in July, Salah was also nominated for FIFA’s Best Men’s Player Award 2018. Salah also “stood out” during the UEFA Champions League, reaching the final with Liverpool, CBS Sports said on their website.

The winner will be announced on August 30, and we’re rooting for this 26-year-old football star.
