Jaz Hotel Group to Open Two New Hotels in Marsa Alam This Summer
The hospitality arm of Egyptian travel company, Travco, have big plans for this summer and beyond.
Jaz Hotel Group has announced that it will launch two new hotels in Marsa Alam this summer, as reported by Al Mal, with a third planned for Hurghada. All three hotels host a capacity of 700 rooms, with the whole project costing EGP 1 billion.
According to Alaa Akel, CEO of Jaz Hotel Group (Egyptian travel company Travco’s hospitality arm), Egypt’s booming tourism in recent years has inspired the company to invest in the projects. Along with Travco’s partner, German tourism company TUI Group, they’ve set a target figure of 800,000 international visitors to Egypt in 2019.
Akel also stated that the company has annual plans to constantly renovate its hotels so as to not disrupt visitors’ stay during peak seasons. Moreover, the company is aiming to invest in more projects in the next five years, with a view to building a large resort city housing eight hotels in Turtle Bay, Marsa Alam.
