You Can Now Get a Visa to Visit Egypt Online

The Ministry of Tourism has launched an e-visa service for around 50 countries, making it easier for tourists to get travel authorisation to Egypt, according to Egypt Independent.

This applies for single or multiple e-visas, and it can be done simply by applying online and waiting for the (hopeful) approval sent by e-mail, saving you that dreaded trip to the embassy. The e-visa is valid for 3 months, and allows a maximum stay of 30 days.

Also in tourism today, the Ministry of Tourism has launched a promotional digital TV channel called "Experience Egypt" on Instagram’s view-platform IGTV aiming to attract more tourists.

Experience Egypt on Instagram: "An unbeatable journey underwater in #Egypt's Red Sea with South African Olympic Swimmer Calvyn Justus."

“The Ministry of Tourism is currently looking into launching more promotional campaigns across the most influential and focused platforms to spread its scope across wider populace,” according to a statement by the ministry.
