Video of Egyptian Band Arabish Singing Pokemon’s Intro Goes Viral

Pikachu, Charmander, and Squirtle have just been featured in Egyptian band Arabish’s latest viral Facebook video of them singing a mash-up of both the English and Arabic versions of Pokemon’s intro. Our favourite three Pokemons weren’t actually physically there (sad sigh) - they were painted on the band members’ faces! The video earned them our attention, along with 168K views on Facebook, and we need to find out how to get our very own face painted like, right now.

After everyone in the country’s figured out how to download Pokemon Go before its official release in Egypt, it doesn’t cease to surprise us how creative we can get with the game. Founded early last year by guitarist Wael Nasr, Arabish have been putting out some incredibly cool videos on Facebook of them singing Arabic and English Pop songs, but their latest one had our childhood feels hit the roof. We need to warn you that you’ll be getting a strong urge to go on a crazy binge on all of cartoon’s seasons afterwards. We fought it by writing this, so you’ll need to get creative.

Here’s the video:
