UK’s Uppingham School is opening in Egypt
Top Ranking British school, Uppingham, is opening in West Cairo.
Uppingham School, a prestigious British boarding school, is launching its new Cairo branch in partnership with Egypt-based school operator New Era Education.
Due to open in 2024, Uppingham Cairo’s New Giza campus will cost EGP 1.5 billion and will be 10 acres large. The K-12 coeducational school will provide Egyptian students with the opportunity to earn A-Levels and International Baccalaureate diplomas.
Founded in 1584, Uppingham School has maintained a holistic educational philosophy to deliver high quality education and a rich historic experience for its students. It was named one of Britain’s top 50 independent schools by The Times in 2005. One of the main purposes of its overseas project is to create a global educational community that will offer its students a multidimensional learning process.
