Telecom Egypt Raises Price of Landline Phone Installation

Telecom Egypt has announced an increase in fees for home landline contracts, effective immediately. The total expenses for ordering and installing a landline, including taxes and stamps, have risen from EGP 115 pounds to EGP 203.

While the application fee for installing a landline phone remains at EGP 17.5, the installation expenses have surged from EGP 72.5 to EGP 150, representing an increase of over 106%. 

This follows Egyptian Telecom Company WE raising the prices of landline internet packages by more than 30%. The new prices, which will take effect tomorrow, Friday, January 5.
