Stop What You're Doing Because Citystars Mall Just Got its Own ‘Segel Madany’

Yes, you read that right. You can now get national IDs, as well as marriage, divorce, birth and certificates issued at Citystars, with the Nasr City mall getting its own dedicated segel madany - or civil registry office.

So, whether you want to hit two birds with one stone when you're out shopping, or make a totally justified escape from that friend that can't decide which colour jacket brings out their natural hues, you can head over to the office and get that overdue national ID renewal over and done with. So far, only civil registry services are offered, but soon the office will also offer real estate registry services (shahr 3aqary).

Launched last night, the service runs from 10AM to 10PM, so you can save those wasted Saturdays spent standing in a stuffy room in a seemingly endless queue. Or, better yet, you can save yourself the heartbreak of hearing the three words that send a shiver down everyone's spines: "erga3 tany bokra."  One person we'll miss though, truly and deeply, is Madame Afaf.
