Sylvester Stallone to Star in Egyptian film with Youssef Mansour

Youssef Mansur, the 1990s action film star and former Egyptian champion in Kung Fu, recently announced that he is set to return to the silver screen after a long hiatus, to play a security guard of a Pharaonic temple. His nemesis will be no other than Sylvester Stallone, the iconic American actor signing on to play the head of a foreign gang who is trying to steal the Pharaonic treasures and sell them to a Russian drug-lord on the black market.

Rocky Balboa was initially reluctant to travel to and film in Egypt but was finally convinced by his close friend Morgan Freeman, who shot parts of The Bucket List in Egypt.

Mansour added that the film is the beginning of a trilogy of films similar to the Batman series. He also confirmed that the film will included a cast of well-known Egyptian actors while giving a shot to fresh talent faces.

We can't wait to see this in theatres!
