Spinning Wednesdays at CJC with Neobyrd and Masters at Funk

Cairo Jazz Club is the one of the few clubs in the city that will have a full house and awesome music on any given night of the week. According to Notorious Big, Wednesday is the Benz day, but at CJC, Wednesday is for spinning, and for this week's edition of Spinning Wednesdays they have two artists in store for you. Both of them haven't been playing a lot lately, and we miss them!

MAF or Masters at Funk is the trio made up of Amir Farrag AKA Nitrane, The White Nubian and Funky Pharaoh, and on Wednesday they will be showing us all why they have indeed earned that name! All three of them are artists on their own, and when they come together you get a triple whammy of funklicious trouble. 

Wael Alaa is the man behind the bird mask AKA Neobyrd; he's played several gigs overseas and has several acclaimed releases under his belt. His latest EP is set for release sometime during this year on French label Record Makers with Kanisky and the prolific Sebastien Tellier.

CJC here we come, and with a line up like that who isn't coming, really?
