Sinovac to Produce COVID-19 Vaccines for New Varients By Mid-2022

Sinovac is currently conducting a number of experiments, and expects to have the new vaccines ready for production by mid-2022.

The Ministry of Health and Population and the Egyptian Holding Company for Biological Products and Vaccines (VACSERA) has met with Chinese pharmaceutical company Sinovac to confirm that they are developing new vaccines that will be able to handle the various variants and mutations of the COVID-19 virus.

Sinovac is currently conducting a number of experiments, and expects to have the new vaccines ready for production by mid-2022. The new vaccine will reach Egypt for local production as soon as it is officially approved.
