Saudi Woman Awarded Title of Women's Empowerment Ambassador by the UN
This development comes after Dr. Kholoud Al Mana’s appointment as the United Nations Messenger of Peace.
Following her appointment as the United Nations Messenger of Peace over the past few months, Dr. Kholoud Al Mana has been selected as a global ambassador for women's empowerment by the United Nations International Organization for Human Rights. Additionally, she has been invited to serve as a keynote speaker at the Seventh World Summit on Human Rights 2024, scheduled to take place in the Swiss capital, Geneva.
"I am delighted to be an entrepreneur and among the global female leaders in the field of artificial intelligence, a pivotal force in the fifth industrial revolution,” Dr. Kholoud commented. “I eagerly anticipate contributing to the nation through collaborations with the government, private sector, and industrial domains by implementing projects in digital transformation, automation, and leveraging cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies.”
Dr. Al Mana has a track record of notable achievements. She made history by becoming the first Saudi individual appointed as a senator at the G20's World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum (WEIF) and achieved first position during the ICT industry events in Barcelona in 2023, establishing herself as one of the foremost 32 international figures in the field of information technology.
In 2021, she attained fourth place among the global top 10 influencers in the realms of artificial intelligence and information technology, as recognized by the American Social Media Research Foundation.
