Run Against Cancer

Amateur sports team Cairo Runners team up with Baheya Hospital, in collaboration with Sodic Sports for a 6 km run against cancer, in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness month. The SODIC and Baheya Run Against Breast Cancer event will be held at SODIC West on Friday, October 30th at 8:00am.

Baheya Hospital is first of its kind in the country and the Middle East to specialise in the treatment and prevention of breast cancer, offering exceptional, free services for all women who enter their premises, inaugurated in the memory of the late Baheya Wahby, wife of Eng. Hussein Ahmed Othman, who passed away from breast cancer. Cairo Runners have been running around town every Friday, taking trips around the region and beyond since 2012.

The run is a reflection of Sodic’s belief in the role of athletes supporting causes that inspire and motivate the Egyptian community to make a difference. All are welcome to join the marathon and offer donations to Baheya Hospital, to be collected on the morning of the run. Help raise LE 100,000 for Baheya hospital and join the fight against breast cancer.
