SNL Star Khalid Mansour Announced as Voice of OSN’s ‘Yalla Neta’asha’

If you've ever watched the UK version of 'Come Dine with Me' on OSN, you'd know that the best part of the cooking competition isn't seeing all of the peculiarities of the contestant's homes, or watching the tension as they serve the other contestants dinner, or anticipating the inevitable bickering as social dynamics between complete strangers come crashing down over the course of a week. Those are all great, sure, but the BEST part is hearing the voice over sarcastically narrate each and everything that happens with sharp observations and cutting witticisms. Why are we talking about some British cooking show all of a sudden? A localized version is coming on OSN called 'Yalla Neta'asha', and comedian and SNL star Khalid Mansour has been tapped to serve as its narrating voice over!

“I’m honoured and thrilled to be working with OSN once again, this time on a new OSN Original Yalla Neta’asha," Khalid Mansour says. "I am looking forward to be a part of this new show, created by regional talent for a regional audience. I have lots of jokes up my sleeve for the show, and I’m sure viewers will be laughing along as they watch.”

Mansour first worked as a voiceover actor in commercials before making a name for himself as a stand-up comedian. After starring in 'El Bernameg' , the movie 'X Large' and a prank show called 'Al Tagroba AlKhafeya', he started working with OSN as the headliner for 'SNL Bel Arabi', a localized version of America's Saturday Night Live.

Yalla Neta'asha will follow the same format as the original UK show, where four amateur chefs take turns to host a three-course meal over the course of four nights, and judge each other to decide on the winner - all while Mansour keeps it together with his sharp observations. You'll be able to catch 45-episode series on OSN and OSN streaming apps weekly starting this fall.
