Pyramids Sound & Light Show Up For Grabs with Global Bid

Here's the sales pitch: Do you enjoy delighting tourists and locals alike with grand displays of multicolour luminescence streaming across ancient monuments? Do you dream of using the Pyramids of Giza or temples of age-old gods as your canvas for an array of bright lights in perfect sync with awe-inspiring music? And would you like to be in charge of all that for about 15 years? Well have we got the opportunity for you. The Misr Company for Sound and Light (along with the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of the Public Business Sector) has put up a global bid for anyone who wants to upgrade and manage their shows for the next decade and a half.

Whoever wins the bid will have to bring all the technology up to global standards at their own expense, and bring in the latest methods in laser and image projection. Through this bid, it is hoped that the Pyramids will gain a stage with services and a show that can simultaneously fulfil modern expectations and honour their ancient majesty.
