According to Reuters, a projectile landed in the Red Sea town of Nuweiba. The sources, two members of the Egyptian security forces, confirmed that the projectile hit an uninhabited area within the town. An eyewitness who spoke to Reuters described a powerful explosion and observed clouds of dust in the distance.

Earlier today, Al Qahera TV announced that a missile had impacted the Egyptian Red Sea resort town of Taba. Taba is situated at a distance of around 220 kilometres (approximately 135 miles) from the Gaza Strip, sharing a border with Israel.

The missile struck a medical facility in Taba, causing injuries to at least six individuals, according to y Al Qahera TV. The same sources have also reported that an investigation is underway to determine the origin of the missile launch.
