Port Said to Receive 30-Minute COVID-19 Test

Ports at the governorate of Port Said will soon provide COVID-19 swab tests which will return results in half an hour. The tests will be implemented to help facilitate travel and work within the ports of this Canal Zone governorate, which serves as a an important harbour for Egypt's exports like rice and cotton, as well as a fueling station for ships that go through the Suez Canal.

The tests will be implemented within the next few days, with fees yet to be determined.
