Port Said to Host Blind Goalball Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Qualifiers

The International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) has announced that Egypt's Port Said has been chosen to host this year's 2020 Goalball African Championships. The competition will be organized by the Egyptian Blind Sports Association and is scheduled for February 28th to March 6th.

These championships will be the sixth qualifier for Tokyo 2020, where a group of 12 men and women's teams are expected to compete. Only the gold medalists, however, will go on to secure their places in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. The Paralympic games will take place from August 25th to September 6th.
