People & Places Will Soon Begin Construction on The Med on North Coast

Following up from their launch of The Gray with Campbell Gray Hotels, People & Places - a next-generation community maker - has taken their next step in their luxurious takeover of Ras El Hekma in the North Coast. The company has signed contracts with Solid and ASASS Construction with a total investment value of EGP 1.6 billion to begin construction on their first development project, The Med.

"We are thrilled to begin construction of our first development only a few short months after our launch in the summer, which reflects our commitment to providing top-quality real estate products and ensuring timely project completion,” Karim El-Assal, Founder of People & Places, tells CairoScene. “Our goal is to offer a complete experience to our customers upon handover, we are therefore focused on finalizing all aspects including green spaces, water features, and beach amenities.

"The first phase of the project, which launched in the summer of 2022, is designed by renowned architects ALCHEMY ARCHITECTURE, who have incorporated contemporary Mediterranean styles to create luxurious Mediterranean villas with direct beach views, and unique Waterfall villas with private beach lagoons and direct views over swimmable lagoons and waterfalls.

The Med is set to become a 307-acre development located in the heart of Ras El-Hekma Bay, with four unique concept hotels overlooking a 800 sqm beach. The project offers a variety of coastal homes, ranging from stand-alone villas, twin houses, townhouses, and chalets. Throughout its construction, People & Places looks to adhere to its environmental goals in its designs, building materials, and preservation of the North Coast’s natural environment.

Construction on The Med is set to begin in the first quarter of 2023.
