Operation Smile Hosts Free Convoy in Aswan to Help Treat Cleft Lip

In cooperation with Aswan University Hospital, Operation Smile will be hosting a free international medical convoy for the treatment of cleft lip and palate conditions. The procedures will be ongoing from February 21st to February 27th, where a team of international doctors and medical professionals specialized in plastics, anaesthesia, paediatrics, as well as speech and dental surgeries will be working. For those who hope to enrol their children in surgery, presence is mandatory on February 21st at 8AM.

Operation Smile has been doing work in Egypt for 15 years, which spans work across a variety of governorates such as their recent work in Asyout. The organization operates in over 61 countries around the world with their teams of volunteers, who have given free treatments to over 250,000 children who wouldn't be able to afford it otherwise.
