Al-Azhar Launches New Committee to Review 'Internet Fatwas'
Nightlife Venues Can Now Stay Open Until 2AM
A clarification has been released regarding operating hours in anticipation of the second wave of COVID-19, extending the hours for night clubs and live venues with performances to 2 AM and 3 AM respectively.
As part of the Egyptian government’s measures to help curb the second wave of the Coronavirus, we saw a lot of shops, malls and restaurants receive new closing hours to keep people from crowding around at night. Recently, a clarification has been released, extending the hours for night clubs and live venues with performances to 2 AM and 3 AM respectively. Nightclubs and venues can reopen at 10 AM and 11 AM as well, so if you haven't done the wise thing and went home after the party is over, then you could just stick around for a handful of hours and get back at it. Although we can't stress how much we advise against that. Just because you *can* party all night during the pandemic, doesn’t mean you *should*.
