New Nursing Residency Programmes Launched in the UAE

The first specialised nursing residency programmes in the UAE has just been launched, in order to equip nurses with the necessary clinical specialisations.

Three programmes so far have been approved by the National Institute for Health Specialties, including a residency for new graduates, a critical care for adults programme, and a nursing care for mental health programme. The move is particularly focused on empowering Emirati nurses to advance their careers.
