New Digital Billboard to Display Official Statistics About Egypt

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development is launching a new website in coordination with the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), in which citizens will be able to review statistics collected by CAPMAS.

CAPMAS has regularly reported statistical trends and observations amongst the Egyptian population, such as rates of marriage and divorce. Not only will the new website publish these findings, but a giant electronic screen will also be installed on CAPMAS’s official headquarters, which will be dedicated to broadcasting the results to passersby in order to raise awareness and transparency.
