National Icon Shaaban Abdel Reheem Dies at Age 62

Iconic Egyptian singer Shaaban Abdel Reheem, otherwise known as Sha3bola, passed away this morning in the Maadi Military Hospital at the age of 62.

Days earlier, Abdel Reheem was attending a concert in Riyadh in a wheelchair, citing bone problems.

The artist had just recently collaborated on a song with poet Islam Khalil criticizing Al Jazeera for ‘inciting rumours’ against the Egyptian state before his death.
