Mohamed Salah Leaves Chelsea for Fiorentina

After just eight apperances this season, Mohamed Salah has finally bitten the bullet with a loan move out of London to Italian Serie A side Fiorentina untill the end of the season, failing to live up to the hype surrounding him following his £11 million move from FC Basel last January.

After just eight apperances this season, Mohamed Salah has finally bitten the bullet with a loan move out of London to Italian Serie A side Fiorentina untill the end of the season, failing to live up to the hype surrounding him following his £11 million move from FC Basel last January.

The Egyptian winger wasn't living up to 'The Special One's' expectations especially with the likes of Eden Hazard, Willian and Oscar ahead of him in the pecking order. Despite Mourinho announcing recently that Salah wouldn't leave in the January transfer window due to their small squad, a deal which saw Colombian World Cup playmeker Juan Cuadrado move the other way, to Chelsea from Fiorentina for £26.8 million, was confirmed yesterday.

Whether Salah still has a future at Chelsea come next summer remains to be seen, what's for sure is Chelsea just lost a lot of Egyptian fans.
