Following the recent closure of all cafés, restaurants, nightclubs and malls from 7pm to 6am, strategies to flatten the spread of Coronavirus continue with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities along with the Chamber of Hotel Establishments announcing the full shut down of restaurants, swimming pools, nightclubs and spas in all hotels across Cairo and Giza. Hotel residents will still have access to essential food and beverage outlets, however with the stoppage of all international flights, occupancy rates are already at record lows.
