Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology to Increase Download Capacity by 20%

Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology Dr. Amr Talat has announced that the ministry will be increasing internet download capacity nationwide by 20% as well as increasing browsing till the end of this month. This initiative - which is said to be costing EGP 200 Million - is designed to encourage and support those working and studying from home during the Coronavirus outbreak.
