Ministry of Health Announces Release of Fourth COVID-19 Booster Shot

The Ministry of Health and Population announced a new protocol for the release of the fourth COVID-19 vaccine booster shot.

Members of vulnerable groups - namely immunocompromised people, elderly people or people diagnosed with chronic diseases - will be eligible for the new dose as long as it has been three months since their last shot. Everyone else on the other hand will be eligible to take the booster shot as long as it has been six months since their latest dose.

Although the Ministry of Health and Population has halted the text message system (meaning there will no longer be vaccine shot reminders over text), you can still reach out to the ministry through their hotlines, 105 or 15335, or message them on WhatsApp at 01553105105.
