Jurassic World Trailer Leaks; Geeks Go Crazy

The trailer for the widely anticipated Jurassic World has leaked two days earlier than was previously announced, and has attracted viral attention.

The fourth installment in the Jurassic Park franchise has taken over a decade to make as several disagreements between writers and Universal Studios kept the film from being developed. Returning as executive producer is Steve Spielberg, and playing the lead is none other than Chris Pratt.

The film takes places 22 years after the events of Jurassic Park, with the creation of a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World. Park scientist seem to have gotten over the excitement of cloning dinosaurs, and have decided to create genetically-modified hybrid dinosaurs. What could possibly go wrong?

In just a day, the trailer garnered over 10 million views with many fans taking to social media to express their excitement. However, like any science-driven movie, scientists, specifically paleontologists, are up in arms already pointing out inaccuracies that can be found in the two and half minute trailer. The film is slated to be released June 12th 2015, which will also likely mark the day that nerds gather globally to protest the promotion of inaccurately cross-bred dinosaurs.
