Is Your Cat the Next #CSTopCat2015 ?

Cat people are unlike any other humans you may encounter in Egypt. Their hearts are bigger, their lives are richer, however their egos are overblown as every cat person believes their fluffy companion is the most adorable in the world. In an effort to settle who in fact has the cutest cat, we here at CairoScene have decided to bring back our Top Cat of the Year competition.

Almost everyone in the CairoScene office has a cat, if not multiple fluffy friends. We seemingly can’t get enough feline companionship. Understanding that it would be unfair to enter our cats in a competition we judge we have decided to leave the judging to one of our favourite pet boutiques, Zamalek’s Boutique Paws. Not only will they graciously pick CairoScene’s 2015 Top Cat, but they will also be generously giving the winner the purrrfect prize pack including; engraved collar, Pet head crazy cat lady fragrance, a bed, toys, and a printed T-shirt for your cat.

If you think your cat has what it takes to break the internet, or at least win our Top Cat 2015 competition, Instagram a photo of your totes adorbs cat using the hashtag #CSTopCat2015, and tagging or mentioning both @Cairoscene and @boutiquepaws. We will only accept one photo for each cat, which must include the cat’s name and a little bit about them. The competition officially starts today and will run for a week. We will announce the top winner on September 17^th, so that's when the winner will know they can begin bragging as well as where and when they can pick up their awesome prizes. There'll also be goodies for second and first place, so get snapping!

Last year’s winner was a beautiful Persian named Daigoro. If you think your cat has what it takes to knock him off the thrown, then send us your heart-melting photo right meow.
