Fun Lab’s Kids Science Show Comes Just in Time for Science Month

Just in time for Egyptian Science Month, AUC’s Fun Lab is reviving the spirit of Bill Nye in Cairo’s downtown Tahrir Cultural Centre. For children aged 4 to 14, the event features out-of-the-box shows and experiments that will get your young ones engaged with the world of science. The event is a part of the bigger Hakawy International Arts Festival for Children that is ongoing at the Tahrir Cultural Centre.

President of the Academy of Scientific Research, Dr. Mahmoud Saqr, announced that this year’s edition of science month will feature the former Minister of Antiquities Zahi Hawass in an exclusive lecture and more than 1,500 activities in the fields of science, innovation, and creative scientific education in all governorates of Egypt with over 200,000 participants.

The event aims to enhance civic participation in the science and technology sector, much of which can start with the education of our children. If your little one has the potential to be the country’s next Ahmed Zewail, you can head to the Fun Lab’s science show on March 4, 5, and 8 to help kickstart their curiosity.
