Flights From England to Sharm Have Opened Back Up

We're finally starting to feel like we don't need to freak out so much about Sharm El-Sheikh anymore as airlines in England resume their flights to the Egyptian resort town.

Sharm El-Sheikh has always been a popular destination for UK holidaymakers, but the ban imposed in 2015 that restricted flights to the area for security concerns put a halt to tourism.

Budget airline EasyJet is said to start offering direct flights to Sharm El-Sheikh from English capitals in June later this year. The ban on flights had already been lifted in 2019 by the UK’s Department of Transport after four years of restrictions, and airlines are recently starting to follow through.

Guess it serves us right to say vamos a la playa!
