Eighteen Hotels in Egypt Acquire a Health and Safety Covid-19 Safety Certificate
Several joint committees of inspectors surveyed 27 hotels so far in the Red Sea, South Sinai and Marsa Matruh governorates, 18 of which have been certified.
With domestic tourism operations slowly starting up again, Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population, Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Chamber of Hotel Establishments have begun awarding hotels with health and safety COVID-19 certificates based on whether they've complied with regulations set by the Egyptian cabinet earlier this month. So far, eighteen different hotels have made the cut.
Over the past couple of days, several joint committees of inspectors surveyed 27 hotels. Nine hotels in the Red Sea governorate, seven hotels in South Sinai and two hotels in Marsa Matruh were awarded the certificate. Find the list of these hotels below
