Egypt's Population Jumps By 750,000 Within 170 Days

The clock continues to tick for Egypt’s population. The Population Clock at the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) recorded a spike in population numbers over the last 170 days, from approximately 103,000,000 to 103,750,000.

Last April, the population had reached 103,250,000. The population is mostly concentrated within the governorate of Cairo, followed by Giza, Sharqia, Dakhlia and then Beheira.
