Mohamed Ibrahim El-Sayed, aka ‘Kisho’, is bringing home
the bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics after defeating Russian
world champion Artem Surkov in Greco-Roman Wrestling in the 67kg
bracket.
Kisho kickstarted the year by claiming the gold medal in the 72kg event at the Matteo Pellicone International Championship in Rome last January, foreshadowing what could be a year of accolades for the Egyptian wrestler.
