Egypt's Dr. Hala El-Said Selected as Best Minister in the Arab World

Who's to say who the best person is for any kind of job? Well, when it comes to ranking ministers in the Arab region, the Arab Government Excellence Awards have set themselves up as the final word on the matter. And recently, they have decided to name Egypt's Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Hala El-Said, as the best in her field throughout the Arab world.

El-Said was selected as chairperson of the Sovereign Fund of Egypt (TSFE) in 2017, the same year she became a minister. Primarily responsible for the digital transformation of Egypt, she’s highly recognized for her development of administrative practices.

This wasn’t the only award given to Egypt's statespeople, with other awards including the best Arab governor given to Adel Ghadhban and the best Arab government employee to Noha Ahmed al-Sayed. After her award was announced by the ruler of Dubai - and the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE - Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister El-Said dedicated her award to all Egyptian people.
