Egypt Welcomed 1 Million Saudi Tourists in 2023

According to the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, around 1 million tourists from Saudi Arabia visited Egypt in 2023.

In October 2023, around 1.3 million tourists from 80 countries visited Egypt, marking an  8% increase compared to October 2022. The year 2023 also saw a record-breaking number of tourists at 14.906 million visitors, breaking the previous record of 14.731 million tourists in 2010. Meanwhile, according to reports from the Central Bank of Egypt, tourism revenues increased by 23.8% in the fiscal year 2022/2023, reaching approximately USD 13.6 billion.
