Egypt Included in Airbnb’s ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ Adventure Holiday

With more and more travellers turning to AirBnB for accommodation, the online hospitality service has begun looking further than rooms and apartments with the launch Airbnb Adventures; a new service that sees the Silicone Valley giant offer curated trips. Asking travellers to channel their inner Phileas Fogg, the first trip is ‘Around the World in 80 Days’, with Egypt and Jordan the only Arab countries chose for the ambitious itinerary.

The trip, which starts on September 20th, will kick off from London before taking adventurers to Romania and Uzbekistan. Egypt is next on the list, followed by Jordan, Ethiopia and Kenya. The journey will then head to Asia, with stops in Thailand, China and Japan, before moving on to New Zealand and Australia. The United States is next along with Chile and Ecuador, before this most mammoth of holidays returning to London. The all-inclusive trip comes with a price tag of $5000, which might seem like a steep sum for Egyptians given the exchange rate, but is a a very good offer considering the sheer number of locations on the world tour.

Egypt's part of the trip will start with Cairo's most iconic locations, including the Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids. A short flight later, the group lands in Luxor to visit the city's ancient landmarks, which will then followed by a three-day cruise along the Nile, stopping at shrines, villages, and temples along the way.
